I see it in Edit->Accounts, on the right, below "Add" and some other
buttons. I also verified it in 3.28.5 of evolution, but it is supposed
to be part of your older 3.28.1 too.

There is some code in Evolution to make Google (not Gmail) calendars
Properties look differently on purpose, but it's still CalDAV in the
background.
Never mind, good you made it work with the web UI (as you said in
another message of this thread).
