Right click on the account name and select "New Folder". You will then
be presented with a dialogue box where you can select where you want
the folder created and give a name.  For an mbox account the "folder"
equates to an mbox file. Because of the limitations of the underlying
Unix filesystem you can't create subfolders of a mail folder like you
can with Maildir (to do so would need the mbox file and the directory
to have the same name).

As I said before, you can't use this to create new subfolders (i.e. a
directory in the filesystem), but you can create new folders in a
subfolder.

It should still work - although if Mozilla stores specific flags in the
mbox, they may not be interpreted correctly.
