Hi, those flags are not those used by the configure script of the evolution-data-server (eds). It can be that your build system provides some aggregate options. I agree that the current naming of configure options can be confusing, though. There are: ENABLE_GOOGLE_AUTH - Enable built-in Google authentication ENABLE_GOOGLE - Enable Google support where both are ON by default. While the first corresponds to the description you pasted in the previous email, the second means "require libgdata", which is used to connect to Google Contacts (and to Google Tasks). The error you received in UI means that the backend which provides access to the address book (similar error exists for calendar, task list, memo list) could not be found, which either means it should be installed separately or, as in your case, the eds was not compiled with it.
