Fine, I agree. Let HELO be *provided* by MUA and *inserted* as is by MTA as said
in RFC, I suppose. At least it is an observed behavior among all public mail
servers I have access to.

Absolutely not. Another example of catching only a tail of conversation and
making wrong conclusion.

I said at the very beginning that I want evolution behave *exactly* as
thunderbird and offered a patch. That is all. I am not going to continue this 
discussion.
