libsoup 2.56.0 had not been affected at all.
libsoup 2.58.0 is affected by
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=781590

libsoup 2.58.1 has that fixed (offending commit reverted).

I see I didn't write it properly. What I meant with "requires rebuild
against updated libsoup" should rather be "rebuild WebKitGTK+ with
fixed or previous version of libsoup, or install the same version of
libsoup which had been used to build WebKitGTK+, but then, if it was
the affected 2.58.0, then it won't help, thus the rebuild of WebKitGTK+
would be needed anyway (either against libsoup 2.58.1 or 2.56.0, though
the latest stable preferred, from my point of view)".

It really depends what libsoup version had been used to build that
WebKitGTK+ library. I'm not able to name all the possible cases here
without making it overcomplicated to read, as you can see above.
