Pegasus is not that common so it's unlikely there will be a direct way of importing the files. Possibly the easiest way to go, as John said, is to export the mail as mbox files and then those can be imported into Evolution. But you didn't say how your wife currently retrieves the mail into Pegasus - if she uses IMAP, then just configure Evolution to point to the same IMAP server, and it will work. Another solution is to actually move to using IMAP - if your wife also has a charter.net email account, then there are instructions on their website on how to move from POP to IMAP. Basically it amounts to switching over to IMAP and then copying all the mail back onto the server. Once the mail is on the server, you can do what you want with it in Evolution. Even if you don't stick with IMAP, using an IMAP server to copy the mail from one location to another is perfectly sane (I do it frequently for users). Can I just add that *I* think IMAP has many advantages over POP, but it's not for everyone. You need to think about the pros and cons before deciding what to do. These suggestions are NOT a prompt for a long an acrimonious discussion about the advantages and shortcomings of each.
