I use real folders for trash and junk for each of my accounts.
Just now I've deleted all the duplicate messages and expunged the folder
again and it worked! I'm now starting to think my problem was with the
messages being "unmarked" for deletion before i got to expunge and that
was why it didn't work, but now Ive deleted all the messages so i can no
longer test...

Ok no worries, should this be disabled in most cases?
