Hi,
I usually prefer a new bug report, due to most people here not being
probably interesting in the investigation, but maybe we can do an
exception here.
The backtrace you gave shows a lockup in the GType creation function.
It can be caused by several reasons. Could you run evolution from a
terminal, reproduce the freeze and catch all the output it writes
there, please?
There was some linking issues in the past [1], but it is surely
supposed to be fixed these days, including your 3.12.11 version.
