Hi, it's an error message Yahoo! server returns. It used to work in the past, but after some time it's broken, regardless of the evolution version. I'm not aware of a change on their side, like using a different URL or something, but I also didn't search for it. The thing is that evolution initiates an OPTIONS request, to which the server (other servers) usually return "HTTP/1.1 401 must authenticate", on which the evolution code knows that the credentials are required, thus it provides them in a resent request and everything works fine afterwards. The problem with the Yahoo! server is that the response for the unauthenticated OPTIONS request is "HTTP/1.1 8 Message Corrupt".
