Hi,
there is no such option. Note the issue can be more complicated when
the folder receives new messages, or basically any changes from the
server. If there are too many changes, then the view is regenerated
from scratch, which can make the ordering different.
Your proposal would still make sense for user-initiated actions. I'm
not aware of any such bug report, but maybe you'll manage to find it,
because I believe it's already filled.
