The issue was solved. As I did many different procedures as updating the kernel, etc, I don't know how the problem was fixed. By now I can say that Evolution 3.10.4 in linux mint 17.1 MATE in a Pentium dual core E5200 2,5GHz is working properly. -- Nestor
