The issue was solved.
As I did many different procedures as updating the kernel, etc, I don't
know how the problem was fixed.
By now I can say that Evolution 3.10.4 in linux mint 17.1 MATE in a
Pentium dual core E5200 2,5GHz is working properly.

but it depends on couple things, like your version of Evolution (I've 
absolutely no idea what Evolution version your Linux Mint 17.1 MATE 
ships) and the actual backtrace of the crash, at least.
