Hi, the above error is the main problem. I found this bug report: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=707884 Are you sure you are running 3.13.4? It's a development version for 3.14, which will be released the next spring (2015). It looks odd to see an LTS Ubuntu with a development version of evolution, while Ubuntu keeps their version usually far (at least one version) behind the current stable. The Help->About in Evolution may tell you the version. According to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=659890#c45 this might be finally fixed in 3.12.0. By the way, I never spot this issue under Fedora, thus it seems to me that Ubuntu uses some compiler/linker flags which Fedora doesn't use.
