I'm guessing that the Apple version uses some kind of specially-formatted message, since IMAP doesn't have a memo object to my knowledge (I could easily be wrong). In that case, the question is whether the special format is documented and used by other MUAs. If so there's no *technical* reason for Evo not to support it in the future.
