Hi :) That is exactly why Evolution is a shrinking community and unable to attract new devs in.
One of the main points of a users support list is to benefit the organisation. Not the other way around. It is this sort of discussion that might lead one or a few users to realise that they do understand all this and might be able to join another list to learn more and help. If you consider users to be a drain on resources, as this list seems to, then they will be. The sorts of negative, derogatory and stereotyping comments are exactly the sorts of things that would put me off ever wanting to help you or to get involved.
