So your emails are not shown / displayed for some reason.
Have you tried
http://library.gnome.org/users/evolution/3.6/mail-cannot-see.html ?

It's not clear to me what you see on the screen or not when you say
"blank page". Is "View > Layout > Show Side Bar" enabled?
