I haven't gotten around to doiing that yet.  but when I do, I'll report
back.

I mentioned in another response that I setup evolution using an
alternate login identity.   The only problem that remained was the slow
downloading when I clicked on Send/Receive, compared to what happens
under Fedora 15 and evolution 3.0.3.
I didn't try copying my local folders to the new user.  I'm not sure
exactly how to do that since the file structure is different.
