Dear evolutionists, I run evolution 3.2 under Arch Linux. I changed the gnome 3.2 Adwaita theme for gtk-2.0 and gtk-3.0 applications according to this thread: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=128299
Specifically, I added this line to ~/.config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini: gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme = true Now back to my actual question: In evolution the mail listing and the mail contents are in a black font which is very hard to read obviously. I did not find any hints on how to change these font colors in the evolution documentation. Since evolution is a key gnome app I expected the theme change to be as smooth as with the other apps (rhythmbox, nautilus etc.) where color inversion is done properly.
