Indeed, a "feature", and one that is hard to explain from a "we're talking to a web service" point of view. None the less, this "feature" is not the cause of my inability to resync in less than "multiple" (where multiple is nearly always more times than I can count on one hand) times when I return to the office after experiencing the "feature". I'll happily open a seperate thread on the "persistant connection" issue (and serveral other issues, I have a list). For today however, if we can possibly stick to the "Checking for new mail" not succeeding issue I would appreciate it. I've already dumped Ubuntu for FC14 some months ago just to get a "mostly" usable build of Evolution... -- ta Bart
