Do you have a debugger on Windows like MS VisualStudio. Try run it from that IDE. Maybe it tells you where it cannot find a path. Be sure to check the FAQ at http://live.gnome.org/Evolution/FAQ. With which version of evolution did you perform the backup? You can still try to individually import data from the backup archive using File->import.
