Ubuntu 9.10 / Karmic has Evolution 2.28.1, but the MAPI code is still 2.28.0 for some reason.
dpkg -l | grep -i mapi ii evolution-mapi 0.28.0-0ubuntu1 dpkg -l | grep -i evolution ii evolution 2.28.1-0ubuntu1 It has not picked up the four critical GIT checkins yet (mentioned elsewhere on this list) , and still (because of the downlevel MAPI) does not work out of the box with Exchange 2007.
