John, If your Email is at another ISP, you can retrieve with pop from anywhere, but some ISP's don't allow Relaying, and therefore sometimes block smtp to another ISP. You will have to use the SMTP server from your active ISP. Or another option is using a google account to send email. This way you can always send through the google smtp servers. or have your emails for your domain hosted by a hosting company as godaddy, domaindiscover....
