Thank you Nirav!

Can't believe I did not see that.

But, I do see a potential issue, IMO. Saturday and Sunday appear to be tied
together as one unit; whereas all other days appear to be somewhat independent
of each other. I think this is a potential issue as we live in a 24/7
environment, with the added factor of a shrinking world with all of the time
zones of the world.

For example, we now have three and four day work weeks for some people
standard. But, those "work weeks" may take up one or both days of the
"weekend". So, lets make Sunday thru Thursday a work week. When I change to
View > Current View it looks fine. But, if you choose View > Current View >
Week View, Saturday is the first day of the week even though I have changed
Edit > Preferences > Calendar > Calendar and Tasks: Week Starts on Sunday.

If one then goes to View > Current View > Month View, Sat/Sun are now the first
of the week and Friday is the last day...

I think the issue is because Saturday and Sunday are somehow coupled together
as one unit. I understand why they were programmed that way. "Seven day"
weeks are 7 units which is an odd number. "Six day" weeks (with Saturday and
Sunday coupled) are 6 units, which is an even number and easier to manipulate.
At least, that is my guess.

But, I think this is a mistake, an error in programming which will have to be
dealt with in the future.

Anyway, I ramble on! Thanks for listening! :)

Cheers from a beautiful Northwest Tuesday morning, the third day of the week,
not the second... :)

Hi Steven,
Go to Edit->Preferences and select the "Calender and Tasks" on the left
panel.Click the General tab and you will observe the Work week.Work week
has a drop down Menu with "Week starts on".Here select the day which you
want the week to start on.My observation has been that it works OK for
all days of the week except Sunday. For Sunday, in the week view it shows
the week to start on Saturday.
