When you say "purge" do you mean "delete" or "expunge"? If you mean delete, you could use an external script. If you mean expunge, and your mail is on an IMAP server (you don't say), it can't be done because of the way IMAP works. In any case, Evo has no built-in way to configure different criteria for different folders. All you can do is to automatically empty trash (i.e. expunge all the deleted messages in an account) every so often, but note that this will expunge even recently-deleted messages.
