[cut] I can imagine a solution where you mount c_drive/Documents and settings under /home. This way your all your $HOME stuff will be done on NTFS, using both OSes. On window$ you need to point Evo to use c: \Documents...\username\.evolution as its working folder. I have never tried anything like this - only thinking about it for about year, but had no time to try it out. Good luck and let us know if it works.
