I'm noticing some strange phenomena with 2.24.3: 1) Certain mail filters are *occasionally* copying the same message multiple times to a destination folder. This doesn't look like an MTA delivery failure because the various copies are bit-for-bit identical, including header info. I keep a log of filter activity. I check my mail every 10 minutes and I see the rule firing for a specific message, then 10 minutes later nothing, then maybe 20 minutes later it will fire again (I stress this is on the *same* message) etc. etc. This happens with several different -- though similar -- filter rules on different mailing lists. For a time I thought it could possibly be a server problem, but then I got the second problem ...
2) On a different server (Gmail accessed via IMAP) some messages are persistently marked as new even after being read and marked as seen. The visible state is updated in Evo, I visit a different folder, come back again and voila, the message is new again. I repeat: it's the *same* message, not a copy. I speculate that Evo is caching the message state and that the cache code is buggy, but I'm not a devel so any insights are welcome before I report this to BZ. poc _______________________________________________ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
