Hello, First off, thanks for Evolution - it really has simplified so many tasks...
The issue - several times a day when Evolution (2.22.3.1) checks my Gmail Pop accounts, I receive the following pop-up: SSL Certificate check for pop.gmail.com: Issuer: OU=Equifax Secure Certificate Authority,O=Equifax,C=US Subject: CN=pop.gmail.com,O=Google Inc.,L=Mountain View,ST=California,C=US Fingerprint: 44:a8:e9:2c:fb:a9:7e:6d:f9:db:f3:62:b2:9e:f1:a9 Signature: BAD Do you wish to accept? Clicking OK obviously accepts the certificate, however only temporarily, this happens several times a day and if I am not present at the time the pop-up occurs then mail delivery fails until I click OK. AND on the reverse, when sending mail I get a similar notification however for a different security certificate: SSL Certificate check for smtp.gmail.com: Issuer: [EMAIL PROTECTED],CN=Thawte Premium Server CA,OU=Certification Services Division,O=Thawte Consulting cc,L=Cape Town,ST=Western Cape,C=ZA Subject: CN=smtp.gmail.com,O=Google Inc,L=Mountain View,ST=California,C=US Fingerprint: 32:66:6c:0a:dc:4f:2d:f9:83:2e:b4:aa:22:a7:e0:e7 Signature: BAD Do you wish to accept? Is there a way to add the Gmail certificate permanently? I know in Edit | Pref | Certificates, I can import a certificate, but I was under the assumption that this is for personal certificates off private servers. I found the server certificate for Equifax, however it is already added as a certificate authority. Thanks again, Daniel Debian Lenny (2.6.25 kernel), Evolution 2.22.3.1 with Gmail POP3 accounts
