In my case evince is to blame. It doesn't start: missing
libpoppler-glib.so.2!

I couldn't emerge that libpoppler-glib.so.2 so I tried to point the
'document viewer' to an other application like kpdf or so. In vain!!
Double click in Konqueror works because Konqueror uses kpdf, xpdf
document viewer in this order.
Why Evolution insist on using evince - I don't know. Maybe someone here
knows and can give a hint?

Regards Martin

PS I don't know if 'documentviewer' is the right expression. I had to
retranslate it from German Dokumentenbetrachter
