Our organisation has just migrated to Exchange 2007, so I'm trying out the mapi-provider. But I'm unable to get past the authentication, I get a stack trace like;
(evolution:6180): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:1718: instance `0x7b9020' has no handler with id `47645683880288' libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(127): exchange_mapi_connection_new: lock(connect_lock) exchange-mapi-connection.c(70): Entering mapi_profile_load GetDefaultProfile : MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND (0x8004010F) exchange-mapi-connection.c(113): Leaving mapi_profile_load libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c(130): exchange_mapi_connection_new: unlock(connect_lock) (evolution:6180): libexchangemapi-WARNING **: exchange-mapi-connection.c(133): exchange_mapi_connection_new: Login failed camel-mapi-store.c(348):mapi_connect:Reached camel-mapi-store.c(166):camel_mapi_store_get_type:Reached camel-mapi-store.c(166):camel_mapi_store_get_type:Reached camel-mapi-store.c(348):mapi_connect:Reached camel-mapi-store.c(166):camel_mapi_store_get_type:Reached camel-mapi-store.c(166):camel_mapi_store_get_type:Reached This is on OpenSUSE 10.3, Evolution 2.12.0 and mapi-provider 20080411. Our Exchange 2007 server is a cluster, I have attempted all sorts of combinations of usernames and domain names. If I read the wiki faq correctly it should be the MX domain name not the active directory domain name, and the username is the UPN name not the SAMAccountName?
