I use Evo 2.8.3 on FC6. I work in a corporate environment that uses Microsoft
Exchange, so my use of Evo marks me as an outcast. I prefer the term
"progressive"; but I digress. I've been using Evo with the Connector to
successfully process my email for many months now. However, changes are
happening and we're moving to MSE 2007. The first step in this move happened
last week. Today, I find myself unable to connect to Exchange. I've tried
deleting the account info after disconnecting, deleting ~my/.evolution folder,
and deleting ~my/.gnome2_private/Evolution. But, when I try to redefine the
account, chosing "Microsoft Exchange" and the proper credentials and OWA server
URL, I get prompted for a password to authenticate to a server I have no
interest in or intention to access. This server is solely devoted to hosting
our Outlook Public Folders. When I give my proper password to this challenge,
it just tells me that the server name is probably wrong and round and round
we go. I don't really care to see the Public Folders anyway. How can I
convince Evo not to try to look at that server?
