[Evolution] make evolution connection-conscious

Whenever I have Evolution open I keep getting a "Temporary failure in name resolution" message, every few minutes. Could Evolution be somehow connected to network manager, to know when the computer is connected to the Internet and turn to offline mode if it's not?
