Try LC_TIME=en_ZA.utf8 instead. In South Africa they use a 24 hour clock. nl_NL.utf8 works too, but then you get a strange mix between Dutch and English (if you normally use an English locale). With many thanks to Erik Slagter and Des Dougan for their eye-openers, I report: $ LC_TIME=en_GB evolution & [1] 3115 $ CalDAV Eplugin starting up ... (evolution-2.6:3115): camel-WARNING **: camel_exception_get_id called with NULL parameter. $ This message is way beyond my grasp. Sorry. Anyway, mm-dd-yy-AM/PM persists in my Inbox mail-list. Can you help (once more)?
There is still one problem with 24 hour clocks with meeting requests. Those are still displayed with a 12 hour clock, but without the AM/PM behind it. They are okay however once they are in the calendar. I guess I ought to make sure this is in bugzilla.
Many thanks in advance. Dirk van Ormondt ---- FC5, Gnome (kernel 2.6.17-1.2139_FC5), set to Language=English(UK) at _login_. Mozilla-mail duly wields ddmmyy/24-hour. ---- Applied Physics, Delft Univ.
