I am attempting to set up a shared (web-based) calendar, and access it via Evolution. According to the instructions, I need to access via a webcal:// URL, and this gives iCalShare.com as an example. However, I would prefer to host this on my own server if possible.
I was able to find to such a package in the webcal perl scripts at http://awsd.com/scripts/webcal/ - but this doesn't seem to work. While I don't get any specific error, I don't see wny of the information displayed in the calendar and am unable to add events. Am I correct in assuming that this is not, perhaps, the correct calendar format? I am also seeing something called WebCal at http://bulldog.tzo.org/webcal/webcal.html. When I try to connect to their display demo, I don't see any of the added appointments, but I don't get an error either. When I try to add something, I'm told that it is read-only, which is correct, and so I am led to believe this might be what I'm looking for. I'm seeing other examples of that name (via Google) but they all seem to give "bad format" errors, so they're probably not what I'm looking for. Am I on the right track, or must I resign myself to hosting my calendar on a public server? \Thanks, -Don Levey _______________________________________________ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
