Hi, Please confirm that your addressbook is marked for auto-completion. See Edit -> Preferences -> Autocompletion. Also, mark your addressbook as default book (Select adderessbook, right click , Properties -> Mark as default).
If it still doens't work, please run Evolution and Evolution-data-server from console and file a bug in bugzilla.gnome.org with the log messages on console. Thanks, Sushma.
