Of course not. I only didn't see my reply as interesting to the broader

Another useful feature in this regard would be to be able to select
multiple folders (everywhere where it makes sense) and in main Evo
window add to context menu (on right click on selected folders) the
search function.

I would offer to help as I am quite experienced programmer myself but I
am afraid that to understand a little such a large source tree would
take long time and I am not experienced in large projects and C++
anyway :-(.

The UI would bettter be that in the list of folders to search the list
could display tree of folders and on the side of each item there would
be a checkbox to choose recursive searching. This way you would have
more control over what is searched and how than a global setting.
