As a follow-up to the message I sent the other day, I found a Python script that adds an email action to KDE - it can be found here, for anyone who might find it of use:
http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=11234&PHPSESSID=c843434a3a98c71bfdd531b9afad155e It works fine, with one minor caveat. When used, it opens a new mail compose window, putting "A file is attached." in the Subject field, which is helpful, as the Attachment Bar does not display as it does when attaching manually. Adding another file from the compose window causes it to show OK. Is this a bug, or a feature? Is there a key combination to cause the Attachment Bar to be displayed (there doesn't seem to be a menu option)? If it's a bug, I'll be happy to document it in Bugzilla.
