depends on the version. it does with evolution 2.2, but it does not with
evo 2.4 here, see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323115 , at
least not for me. :-/

i have no clock applet at all in my gnome, i'm running timeless. ;-)
