You are using the wrong Filter. Do *not* filter on To/Cc headers, but use "Source Account" and move to different folders accordingly. This will *reliably* and 100% accurate separate your various identities [1]. One filter per identity. This is not getting complex. If you use different sub-folders for any account, you even can easily backup the data in different archive files, as any identity uses a separate directory on disk. When replying or sending a mail while being in one folder, Evo will pick up the correct identity as your From account. Yes, it could be even more easy if different POP3 accounts would use different local storage. This is filed as a feature request already. Anyway, calling multiple instances of the same app to separate identities is nothing but a crude hack. Recall when and why the identities "feature" was introduced in Eudora or Netscape Communicator? To support multiple "identities" (aka users) on systems that don't. If you want to give Evo a try, good. But most of what I just had to read was plain wrong. ...guenther [1] Yes, this even catches Bcc. -- char *t="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"; main(){ char h,m=h=*t++,*x=t+2*h,c,i,l=*x,s=0; for (i=0;i<l;i++){ i%8? c<<=1: (c=*++x); c&128 && (s+=h); if (!(h>>=1)||!t[s+h]){ putchar(t[s]);h=m;s=0; }}} _______________________________________________ Evolution-list mailing list Evolution-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
