Thank you for ALL the various responses. Yes I KNOW deleting the.evolution directory and folders does delete settings.
I am trying to solve this problem. It is easy enough to import addressbooks and redo signatures, calendars, etc.. What I really want to get the software functioning properly. All suggestions and ideas do help! Please keep them coming and do not start a verbal war over the problem. The problem is definitely some setting within Evolution. I can use Thunderbird and everything displays properly.
