Since he is using Gnome, he uses the same libgnomeprint as the rest of gnome. The debian problem was that, when NOT using gnome ,you _had_ the choice between 2 versions of libgnomeprint.
The actual problem seems to be a simple configuration problem. But since, the original author does not answer any configuration question, it is really hard to answer. Trying again: Which option of printer do you use (in evolution), oyou should at least be able to rpint using generic postscript + lp (or lpr) Michel.
