I can file a couple of bugs, it seems to do with the account setup either using xcs or the account editor, it does all sorts of wacky things, like not remembering the OWA url if you used https or not, i think some might of been related to we don't use /exchange.
I was able to find the settings I needed in gconf and used the gconf tools to dump and reimport. It would probably be good if there was a document somewhere of all the options for an exchange account in your gconf file, for example, it didn't put a owa_url setting in, so I didn't know that setting even exsisted! :) I'll look at filing some bugs!
