I experienced exactly the same thing under Suse 9.3, FC4, and *possibly*
Ubuntu (memory is fading).  As soon as the exchange account was set-up,
Evolution crashed every time on startup.  I didn't feel I had enough to
"go on" to file a bug.

Incidentally, I finally installed Gentoo - where Evo is compiled
directly on my machine - and it's possibly the best I've ever seen Evo
perform.
