In the garage frame, the car is moving and thus contracting if you believe 
SR. If v is large enough, the car will fit in garage. Just apply the gamma 
factor. When you write about the "car driver", you're back in the car frame 
which you've already analyzed. And I don't see the logic of your underlined 
comment. AG

Yes, we agree, at least to the extent that there's no paradox. So my 
analysis has changed, and you would know this if you had actually read it
