universes is that one has a record of a particular electron going through
the left slit of a particular 2 slit experiment but the other universe does
not, and there is a way to erase that record, then there is a way to make
those 2 universes identical again, and then it would be silly to say there
are still 2 universes and I'd be justified in saying they had coalesced. *
