Zuckerberg's Facebook) just offered to pay someone from a rival AI company $1.25 billion over 4 years to change jobs and work for them, that's a $312 million yearly salary guaranteed for 4 years. Why would they pay so much? Because most of the value in AI companies is in their Intellectual Property, and that IP is in peoples heads. Incidentally the person turned down the offer. *
