Here, aesthetic overtakes rational structure. The President is not argued
for—he is revered. His actions, even contradictions, are cast as trials of
destiny. He becomes a Christ figure, not because he suffers, but because he
is positioned outside discourse, above contradiction, immune to error. It
is a metaphysical insult. Not to opponents, but to anybody with a somewhat
functioning mind. But why the left is so weak in understanding the logic of
spectacle is beyond me. And here a big F U to all our beloved right wing
list members, because it does self-criticize. Something foreign to you
zombie idiots.

Now take notes:

All the left would have to do is insist: Ok, let’s say we’re watching the
Gospel of Trump. Great. Where’s the Sermon on the GDP growth Spreadsheet?
When will this greatness boost arrive, exactly? Every citizen with the
flying hydrogen musk mobile manufactured entirely in the US? If this is
political Christianity, we demand the miracles. Because, if we're arguing
gospel, then those miracles have to be rather major. People can miss with
firearms. That's not cloud parting level kind of stuff, hmmkay? That's not
full miracle status. Can he turn debt into growth? Or water contaminated by
pollution and plastic into tax revenue? Let us see the stigmata of
middle-class recovery. Show us the second coming of median household
income. If your Jesus-God is strength, we would like to see some bench
press numbers and videos; failing that, seeing Jesus run with some shorts
or doing chin-ups with navy seals would do too.

But really what do I know? Everybody treating this drivel of discourse with
attention somehow deserves to be kicked in the face by authoritarians and
their schmucks again and again until it is their turn; even the schmucks.
Because a one man show is what it is, people. It's not you and never was.
Jesus can't outperform a dead Plato in chin-ups, because they both only
have zero in the tank, which is above and beyond where your accounts will
be more frequently if you tax the shit out of everything. Because
obviously, it's too much to ask people to vote with their wallets, for more
real income. That would be weak wokeness. And we all know how people are
not greedy regarding money. Like Jesus, right?
