*I predict that Donald Trump will eventually face reality and remove the ridiculous 145% tariff on China provided that China is smart enough to give him a face-saving fig leaf to cover up his colossal economic blunder. For example, Xi Jinping could say that he has agreed to organize a committee to study the possibility of maybe someday reducing the amount of fentanyl sent to the US from China, and in return Trump agreed to get rid of the idiotic 145% Chinese tariff. Trump could then triumphantly announce that his strategy had been a huge success.*
