Seems like poor policy to take an easy to wire EVSE, like the Tesla UMA.
But instead incentivize installing a much harder to wire correctly NEMA
14-50.
The NEMA 14-50 then has exposed pins, and can be unplugged or left half out.
Where the Tesla UMC would be just fine for a long long time.
