The Slate and Telo both seem to me like a step in the right direction. I drive a 2010 Chevy Colorado (successor to the S-10) which has a 6' bed, crank-up windows, no NAV or infotainment system, etc. and can carry 4'x8' sheets (though with the tailgate down). It's exactly what I wanted, but unavailable in todays offerings.
> Seems like that should be a basic requirement for a pickup design: 4x8 sheet > with tailgate closed. Very few modern pickups can do that. Most are huge vehicles with 2-row seating, but only 4' to 5' beds. -- Excellence does not require perfection. -- Henry James But it *does* require attention to detail! -- Lee Hart -- Lee A.
