That statement is a bit unclear.  Once again we have a story that seems to 
have been written by a reporter who's not fully literate scientifically.  
HHowever, I'm fairly sure that Daniel means that the batteries are currently 
in EVs, not that the aerogel is currently inside the EV batteries.
