The Peugeot is a pretty strong seller, at least here in France. It has
significantly more real-world range, and as a supermini, it has much more
room than the Fiat.

On the other hand, the Fiat is an A-segment city car. Thus it's smaller and
more nimble for driving narrow medieval streets in cities, and for slipping
into tight parking spots. It might be roomy enough for 2 travelers and
luggage, probably not for more.

Charging: I'd be a bit concerned about availability in Slovenia, Czechia,
and Croatia.

Italy and Germany will be fine, though you may find that a fair bit of it is
still level 2 AC.

The Fiat will charge at 11kW on 3-phase, 7.4kW on single phase.

Check with your rental agency on the Peugeot, as I think that 3-phase is
optional for the E208. With it you get 11kW. Without it you'll be limited
to 7.4kW AC.

The Peugeot has 100kW DC charging and the Fiat 85kW.

If you don't mind (or if you want) something larger, you might also look
into renting a Renault Megane E-Tech. It has a WLTP range of 450km, 22kW AC
charging, and (IIRC) 120kW DC charging.

Payment: the Chargemap card gets you access to many charging points across
Europe. They levy a 10% surcharge to pay for their "meta" service, but you
don't have to carry (or order) a wallet full of cards.

Check the map on their website to see what's available where you'll be.

You can link it to your US credit card.

I think I recall that they had a choice for shipment country when I ordered
my card, but I don't remember whether the US was one of them. If they won't
send it to the US, you might be able to have it sent to your first hotel on
the trip.

Or have them send it to me and I'll forward it to you. Allow 7 days for it
to get here, and another 14 for it to get from here to you.

Contact me offlist if you need forwarding. Don't reply to this message; it
